My company lost the maintenance contract with our client. Last time this happened I just jumped to the new contractor. But this time around I am going to stay with my company.This means a new project and a new database. In my case, it will be IBM DB2. I know nothing about DB2. So it is time to hit the books. I am a little sad at leaving Oracle development. I have built up quite a library of Oracles books that I have read cover to cover.

Luckily my company has an online books service. So I am already checking out some DB2 titles.
